A Diggity Dang Unicorn

I am amazing, in addition I'm a 22 year old sculptor (though I do other arts too). I love to make things and I love animals. My favorites are ungulates but I love dogs, cats, chickens, spiders, and mythological beasties too! Actually I love all animals and will probably post as many as possible. I collect a lot of things and you will see everything from breyer horses and customs by myself to dead animals ranging from fresh stuff to skulls/bones and taxidermy. I always tag dead stuff and other certain triggering stuff but sometime I forget so there's that. In addition this blog will also hold anything I find interesting to journal like posts about my day to random fandom stuff and humor.

My dream is to live on a self sustaining farm with many goats, ponies, alpacas, and chickens with a nice out building dedicated to my sculpture studio practices.

So last fall I was checking the remains of my garden next to the house and found this dead bird laying under the tomato plant. I dug it a hole and buried the poor thing. I recalled that I had buried it under a large rock and decided to dig it up just to take a look. The whole skull plus jaw bone came right up and it was so perfect. I cleaned it up and here it is now. It’s so fragile, when it was wet the whole cranium was transparent, even now it’s faintly apparent that its see through.

I consulted my resident bird expert and she said it looked like a house sparrow which would mean it is legal to keep. I suspect the bird died of internal damage after hitting the side of my house or the window, as I recall it was not visibly injured on the outside.
